about us
The Atlanta Pan-African Arts Festival (FEPAA) is an international cultural event dedicated to the celebration of African arts, traditions and heritage. For its first edition, it will highlight the art of African weavers and the wealth of artisanal know-how through exhibitions, artistic performances and intellectual meetings. Much more than a simple festival, FEPAA aims to be a platform for intercultural dialogue, creating a bridge between Africa and its diaspora, particularly African-American communities. It offers an immersive experience where art, music, gastronomy and intellectual reflection meet to revive cultural roots and promote sustainable creative exchanges.
- Cultural and identity reconciliation: Offer Afro-descendants a space to reconnect with African cultures.
- Promotion of traditional know-how: Highlight African crafts, particularly weaving, as a vector of living history.
- Platform for creation and exchange: Encourage artistic collaborations between Africa and its global diaspora.
- Promotion of artistic entrepreneurship: Stimulate economic opportunities through the visibility of artisanal products and creative industries.
